DPC Statement on ongoing wars (Political)

The DPC has, this evening, issued a statement on their position regarding the invasions by Norway and Nigeria in response to the Government's statement earlier this evening:

First, a quick note on the omission of the wars from our manifesto.

The main reason they were not mentioned was due to the fact it was written prior to the invasion. We were thus unprepared in regards to having space to address what is an important issue as we'd used up all available characters on policies. Another reason was that we presented a broad foreign and defence policy vision rather than tackling the specific wars, but it was a vision that we believe will help us in the long run anyway.

And now to address the issue at hand.

The DPC is fully committed to British sovereignty and doing all we can to ensure British freedom. We cannot have prosperity without liberty.

We believe that the number one way to ensure continued British freedom is to ensure all citizens are equipped and ready to fight. In our manifesto, we stated our belief in subsidising entry in to MUs, providing key battle supplies, and a range of policies to boost incomes. As it stands, defence relies on the ability of citizens to deal as much damage as possible. So a key part of the DPC's approach to the ongoing war will be to give the citizens the resources they need to fight for their country.

We think it's clear that we can our nation will only succeed in this war if the British people can guide us to victory. The Government's actual fighting capability is limited other than to pass down orders. Hence why it's key the Government do all it can equip and prepare all citizens to fight because it is the people who will beat the Norwegians and Nigerians.

I want to congratulate The President for his establishment of a cheap to join MU which supplies good quality equipment to members. This is completely the right thing to do, and should be rolled out to as many citizens as possible.

I also want to state the DPC's full support for Los Extraditables. The President has made a very good choice in allies and has formed a good alliance.

Further, I want to state the DPC's support for combat subsidies. These, we believe, form a key part of our policy of ensuring citizens can afford to fight. By paying citizens for fighting, we make fighting affordable and desirable and I want to express my gratitude to the Government for this.

There are several things we want the Government to do, however. We want immediate tax cuts on weapons, gifts, and food, to make fighting for their country something all citizens can easily afford. In times of war, we should do what we can to make essentials cheap, and then increase taxes on them in peace time to make up for lost revenue, and to raise money for the next war effort.

We also want to see not just military cooperation, but economy aid to and from our allies. We want strong trade and aid payments to our allies. This will make our allies stronger, richer, and better able to help us. We would also reciprocate. The stronger our allies, the stronger we are. Therefore we should do all we can for the betterment of the people of Los Extraditables in every country of the coalition, for much the same logic as we should better people in the UK. The richer the people, the stronger the nation's defence.

Our overall strategy for this war is to ensure the complete removal of the Nigerians and Norwegians from British shores. Anything less than victory would significantly weaken the UK's position. It will weaken us economically and may encourage future attacks. That's why we see it as so important to ensure all citizens are fully equipped to deal as much damage as possible. We want to see the Northeast and Southwest liberated and other attacks repelled. At that point, negotiation is a must. If the enemy is unwilling then we take it to Norwegian shores until they see we're not weak. This is a red line. No capitulation but no unnecessary fighting. We must show the Norwegians and Nigerians that we are not a weak and easy target, to the point that they decide resources are best spent elsewhere. I reiterate that will only win by ensuring our citizens are fully equipped.

We would appreciate, as we will soon form the opposition in Congress (The DPC is not yet the official opposition - we're still in the midst of an election campaign, but we hope to fulfil this position and fully scrutinise the Government, something we've not done to this point due to our belief in only positive campaigning. It would go against this belief to start attacking our opposition during an election period. However, when we enter Congress, we will take up our role and ensure the Government is scrutinised), that the President keep me in the loop about all Government policy and strategy, so I may lead an effective team in congress and an effective opposition. Policy with scrutiny is often the best policy.

We hope this fills any gaps and sets out DPC strategy.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
