Sorry that I have yet to publish an article thanking you for my election but as we know on the day I was elected we were attacked by Ireland and so the battle and the peace negotiations took up my time, but now that we almost have Northern Ireland back and the ceasefire is signed I think I should be turning my attention back to domestic affairs.

While I understand that during the last presidency the organisation in the MU was very poor with there frequently being a lack of raw materials or food meaning you either couldn't work or weren't getting paid. I fixed these problems towards the end of blendi's term so the MU is now running efficiently and there shouldn't be either a lack of food or raw materials, If you come across any problems please message me and I will endeavor to sort it out.
I can also announce that 2 travel tickets will be included in the daily supply so that you can now travel to destinations to fight rather than just relying on Israel having a battle. There will also be weapons available daily for people who request it on discord this is part of a drive to increase activity in the MU so that fighters will be better able to respond to changing situations in a war.
In my presidential candidate article I wrote about my desire to turn the UK's product market into a competitor for rtrade with similar prices in gold. I think there is definitely scope for the product markets to compete with rtrade as rtrade requires you to be online to make a sale and for someone who needs your product to be online to buy at the same time. This has made it an inefficient market as the suppliers of some goods are online at completely different times to the buyers of these goods. There are three main advantages to selling on rtrade, 1. getting gold for your goods rather than currency. 2. not having to pay taxes. 3. it being the place with the most buyers.
I have come up with a plan to make the UK market more competitive than rtrade with the following:
-Create a fixed exchange rate
-Create a tax system beneficial to both government and importers
-Convince producers to sell on our market
-Offer buyers free travel tickets
Create a fixed exchange rate
A fixed exchange rate is pivotal to making convincing producers to sell on our market because it will mean they know exactly how much gold they will receive for their products. Over the last 10 days I have fixed our exchange rate at 0.065g, with the rate rarely deviating from this for more than a few hour.This has been accomplished by the UK org buying up any currency that is posted at a lower value than the UK orgs, having the UK org buying up any currency posted at a lower value will convince producers to sell on the market because they don't have to worry about demand for the currency.
Create a tax system beneficial to both government and importers
I instructed congress to set import taxes for raw materials at 5% and products at 3%, products also have a VAT tax of 3%. I view this as low enough to attract sellers while high enough to raise some revenues for the government.
Convince producers to sell on our market
This will be hard because producers won't want to sell on our market because there aren't enough buyers, and equally buyers won't come to our market because there aren't any reasonably priced products on our market. But I have convinced a few UK producers to start selling their goods on the market when we start our advertising campaign, this will provide enough goods on our market to attract buyers, which in turn should attract producers.
Offer buyers free travel tickets
Obviously for people to come to our market they are going to have to travel to the UK while on rtrade you don't, so there is a clear cost to buying on the UK market. To help reduce this cost the UK org will be offering a free q2 travel tickets to people who buy 150GBP or more from the UK org and 2 q2 travel tickets for purchases of 300GBP or more from the UK org. This should hopefully encourage some buyers to our market as there will be no cost of travel except health.
I am hoping that these four ideas mixed with the product market being more accessible than rtrade for the vast majority of users will turn our product market into the main market on the game.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
